Professional networking, as the title suggests, is incorporated into every event during Charlotte Professional Networking Week, which is a unique spin on the typical professional development conference. This week will have something for everyone—from information about raising investment capital and developing strategic partnerships to effectively marketing a business and learning how to be a professional networker—attendees will walk away with a wealth of information.
“This week will allow professionals to meet other professionals that they otherwise wouldn’t meet and allow them to learn about one another to see what collaboration opportunities they can create for themselves and for the community,” says Davis.
Charlotte Professional Networking Week will include the following signature events:
- The Morning Exchange: A Networking and Knowledge Event (Tuesday, January 17, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.) Everyone will enjoy a continental breakfast followed by an insightful panel discussion featuring Michelle Keaton-Barrow, CEO of Keaton-Barrow Realty; Joe Land, founder of Vios Nutrition; and Cynthia Donald of HF Financial.
- Connecting The Dots: Professional Connections Luncheon (Thursday, January 19, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) An opportunity for guests to mix, mingle and network with vendors and other attendees during lunch expertly prepared by Food From Mars.
- The Move and Shake Experience: A Professional Development Expo (Saturday, January 21, 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) This is an expo focused on providing professional resources and information through vendors, informative seminars by the National Black MBA – Charlotte Chapter and The Robinson Law Group, as well as keynote speakers Saladin Davis and Pamela Lue-Hing.
